AQT90 FLEX analyzer Liquid quality control (LQC) with Multi-CHECK

The quality control system in the AQT90 FLEX analyzer consists of three parts: built-in quality control, system quality check and liquid quality control (LQC).

The liquid quality control solution for the AQT90 FLEX includes:

  • Multi-CHECK Cardiac (TnI, (TnT), Myo, CKMB and NT-proBNP) - 3 levels
  • Multi-CHECK Combi (D-Dimer, βhCG, CRP and PCT) - 2 levels

LQC Multi-CHECK – convenient and precise

Multi-CHECK is an independent, third-party LQC solution from Technopath Clinical Diagnostics that delivers convenience and accuracy in liquid quality control testing.

Ready-to-use tubes mean no manual preparation. Each tube has an assigned value and two barcodes for easy registering of LQC on the AQT90 FLEX analyzer.

How Multi-CHECK LQC helps ensure accurate AQT90 FLEX analyzer performance

AQT90 FLEX analyzer automatically retrieves level, name, lot number, expiry date and information on control ranges from the barcode on the Multi-CHECK LQC, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

When the LQC material is registered, user-defined control ranges are by default given the same values as the assigned control ranges.

All AQT90 FLEX LQC materials have full barcode data and are ready for use after thawing.

The analyzer automatically detects the LQC and its level once inserted in the inlet.

When to run LQC?

In accordance with clinical laboratory testing best practices, liquid quality control needs to be run:

  • After a calibration adjustment has been performed on the analyzer
  • According to local, national and/or international regulations or accreditation requirements
